We are looking to recruit a clinical outcomes officer for the adult Heart division, to be based at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
A vacancy has arisen within the Quality & Safety team based at Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea for a highly motivated individual with great interpersonal and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Trust Heart Failure database and coordinating the collection and input of clinical data by the clinicians in order to facilitate submission of data to national audits for adult cardiac surgery and interventions. They will analyse clinical data in order to produce regular compliance, completeness and missing data reports.
Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to influence and persuade at all levels with the ability to work with minimal supervision. They must be numerate with experience of using databases and data analysis. NHS experience is desirable but not essential and an understanding of healthcare would be beneficial.
