Fixed Term - 3 Months (with possibility of extension)

Post Start Date: November 2020

These posts would suit a senior anaesthetic trainee in possession of FRCA (or equivalent) or experienced anaesthetic trainee with a post graduate anaesthesia qualification looking to gain further experience +/- complete higher unit of training in cardiothoracic anaesthesia. 

The successful candidates will participate in the provision of all aspects of Anaesthesia for both adults and children undergoing cardiac and thoracic procedures. The exact case mix will depend upon the post holder’s prior experience and career aims. Training in either adult or paediatric cardiothoracic anaesthesia can be provided. There is an established consultant delivered teaching programme. Experienced clinical fellows will have regular sessions on our ongoing programme for TAVI’s and other minimally invasive procedures. They will also gain experience in transesophageal echocardiography and will be supported in gaining accreditation.
